My Gym was born out of our passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging environment. We delighted in seeing children's eyes light up for all those incredible milestones, from the tentative first steps to tumbling down soft mats. Sharing the parents’ excitement at their children’s accomplishments was the high point of our day.
Picture this: In 1983, three fitness enthusiasts—Yacov, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin—redefined children's fitness by blending dance, gymnastics, and athletics. That's the birth of My Gym! Their mission: create a space just for kids—no more sharing mom's or dad's gym, but My Gym. With backgrounds in dance, gymnastics, and athletics, they crafted a unique fitness curriculum focused on non-competitive skill building for ages 6 weeks to 14 years. Fast forward: Cory and Monique turned My Gym into a franchise sensation in 1994. The success was undeniable, growing from 100 kids to over 400 in a year. Now a global phenomenon, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program worldwide.

Monta Soto Meet the Owner – Monta Soto, PGA
Hello, I am Monta Soto, PGA and I am the owner of the My Gym Children’s Fitness Center arriving in Chino Hills. I first discovered My Gym when we took my younger siblings to My Gym classes. To witness the joy in my sibling eyes attending each class and their abilities to repeat what they have done during the class, made me so happy. Also, it helped my sisters speed up their motor and cognitive skills which made our family extremely happy!
Prior to My Gym, I had multiple General Manager roles in the golf industry. I was born in the eastern European country of Latvia and moved to the U.S. to study at the University of Wisconsin Stout. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Golf Management and a Minor in Business Administration.I competed on the women’s golf team.
I am very excited to bring My Gym Chino Hills to you and get to know all of families. We can’t wait to you meet you!
