My Gym Children’s Fitness Center is a 700+ locations strong international corporation offering the BEST recreational fitness and gymnastics programs and blowout birthday parties for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years of age.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone who is great with children and can be goofy, fun, loud, and outgoing. It’s also important that you be a “people person” as interacting with parents and their children is a primary role of our team members.
You will be leading classes, parties, camps, and events. Additional duties include light admin work, day-to-day cleaning of equipment, and general customer service.

Position Requirements:

Ability to work 25+ hours per week, including most but not all weekends
Monday availability from 11 AM to 4:30 PM (our mandatory weekly meeting)
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Experience with children is a plus
Health and fitness-focused
Effective time management
Commitment to training hard and taking direction well/easily
Extroverted character personality – our team leads, assists, demonstrates and performs various elements in classes with up to 20 children (most classes with their parents)
Background in theatre, dance, sports, child development, recreation, kinesiology, or fitness
Clean background check

Compensation:

Starts at $16.50 per hour or higher depending on qualified experience
The average trained team member earns $17-$20 per hour
Additional premiums for specialty and coordinator roles
Additional premiums for trained party leads and assistants
Tips - Our families are very generous and take good care of our party hosts on weekends
